We think it is important to be in harmony with nature and the importance of people contributing to help restore the balance of nature.  An enjoyable way of doing this is by scattering bird feeders around your yard to attract the birds.  The presence of birds can make a tremendous difference.  When you use bird feeders and bird houses, you make it easier for parent birds to feed the little ones, so more baby birds survive.   Providing a birdbath (even a heated one in winter) is essential.  More birds will eat more insects so you'll need fewer chemicals to control the bugs.  Fewer chemicals make the environment more healthy for you, your children, your pets, our water supply and on and on.  The healthier the environment, the more birds will multiply and you will be able to enjoy a symphony of birdsong.
