With painstaking attention to detail and using only the finest materials available, the "New England Town Hall" is constructed of exterior grade ply-board for the walls, floor and underlying roof board. Topping off the house is a western red cedar shingled roof that will patina to a silvery gray color adding charm to the house. Kiln-dried hardwoods, pine and poly-resin are used for details and it is finished with non-toxic exterior paint with an unpainted natural interior. With proper maintenance, this bird house will provide years of enjoyment. Note: Once left outside, overtime, the house will weather adding natural charm without compromising its functionality. However, if you want to prevent the paint from turning yellow, a marine type polyurethane product is recommended.
