Lone Star Goliad Purple Martin House
Th Goliad Purple Martin house meets the standard for quality construction. Made of .040 gauge white aluminum which makes it light weight and very sturdy for easy maintenance. Insulated attics help prevent heat buildup for the comfort of the fledglings. Each of the twelve compartments measure 6" X 6" X 12", virtually eliminating any predation by owls and hawks, which increases fledgling rates. The compartments have individual porches and guard rails discouraging male domination and are hinged for easy nest checks and nest tray removal. The crescent entry holes provide about a 98% starling deterrent. Note: Pole not included.
